OK - I'm supplying some screenshots.
Here's how the install was done:
Installed Elastique to: D:\Program Files (x86)\zplane
Installed the plugin here: D:\VSTPlugins(x86)\zPlane
Sonar 32 scans the D:\VSTPlugins(x86) folder & no Elastique.
Launch Sonar's Plugin Manager - Elastique does not appear.
All other plugins in the D:\VSTPlugins(x86) folder appear.
Please let me know how to resolve.
Thanks & Peace...John

OK...keeping in the spirit of trying to resolve...here's the latest:

Uninstalled/removed exisiting Microsoft C++ Runtime Libraries for 2005
Uninstalled/removed Elastique
Rebooted
Downloaded/Installed the Microsoft C++ Runtime Libraries for 2005 (v6.0.2900.2180)
Rebooted
Installed Elastique
Opened Sonar - ran VST Plugin folder(s) scan
No Elastique avail/visible in Sonar

So...to further help debug...attaching additional screenshots from registry.
Elastique is part of the Sonar VST inventory, so it was scanned but contains minimal info/entries.
The screenshot of the inventory entry for NI's Massive shows many more informational entries
So...Sonar does scan Elastique, but is not able to interrogate/extract info from the dll.

Please let me know next steps in order to resolve.
Thanks & Peace... John

Hi!
May have discovered the root cause of the problem.
Figured it wouldn't hurt to attempt to directly register
the Elastique dll via regsvr32.exe. Well...this register
process failed but an event log entry was created for
the failure. Log entry may be revealing why we're having
a problem with getting the Elastique dll recognized.
Here's part of that event log entry:
Activation context generation failed for "D:\VSTPlugins(x86)\zPlane\elastique.dll".
Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT
processorArchitecture="x86"
publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b"
type="win32"
version="8.0.50727.4053" could not be found.
Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

So...it seems that Microsoft.VC80.CRT version 8.0.50727.4053 is required.
Is this enough info to detemine why the problem & then for creating the solution???

Please let me know.
Thanks & Peace....John

Problem resolved - Elastique plug now avail!!!

In researching above problem encountered when I tried
to directly register the ddl & got the event entry listing
Microsoft.VC80.CRT version="8.0.50727.4053" as the
problem (not found), I found others who were having
the same issue when installing their software. Well...
as it turns out, I did need the correct/lastest Microsoft
C++ Runtime Libraries for 2005 installed. But...there
was a missing link... there were actually 3 installs for
the C++ Runtime Libraries:
1) initial install
2) SP1 update
3) a subsequent security SP1 update (the missing link)

Info/download here for the 3rd install: Microsoft Link

I downloaded & installed this version: vcredist_x86.exe (2.6 MB)
Rebooted
Uninstalled/Re-installed Elastique
Opened Sonar - ran VST Plugin folder(s) scan
Elastique now avail/visible in Sonar

I must admit, I was starting to get a little concerned about not being able
to use Elastique & at the same time, I was also tempted to purchase vielklang
as well. But... didn't want to proceed without getting Elastique up & running.

It has all turned out well, & I want to thank all of you for your patience & assistance.
Peace.....John

Thanks for sharing this, with all these redistributables it does get kind of messy and obviously easy to screw up. Wow.
Thanks for your patience and persistence in figuring it out and hopefully you will now have fun with Elastique after all!

Cheers,
Alexander
